Los Angeles, June 12, 2024<\/b>\u2014Duro, a leading cloud-native PLM platform in hardware engineering, is proud to announce that\u00a0<\/span>Jon Stevenson<\/u><\/a>,<\/u> former VP of Technology at <\/span>GrabCAD<\/a><\/u><\/span>, has joined its Board of Directors. This strategic addition aligns perfectly with Duro’s mission to modernize product lifecycle management (PLM) for disruptive hardware teams.<\/span><\/p>

Jon brings over forty years of experience and a proven track record in CAD and PLM, having played pivotal roles in several successful technology startups and established companies. He was instrumental in transforming GrabCAD into the world’s largest community of mechanical engineers and CAD professionals, with over 13 million members. Jon’s understanding of the needs and challenges faced by engineers in the field of CAD and PLM will be invaluable to Duro as it continues to innovate and expand.<\/span><\/p>

Before his success at GrabCAD, Jon was the Executive VP of CAD at PTC, leading a team of 2,000 and managing a business with an annual revenue of $800 million. He also served as the Managing Director of Shape Data, the developer of the Parasolid solid modeling engine used in SolidWorks, Onshape, and many other CAD and CAM software products.<\/span><\/p>
